Catching up

I'm realizing i'm really bad with staying up to date with this blogging thing. I'm sure once I start racing I will be much better with updating! The snow is finally going away in Winnipeg, and I have starte riding my bike outside. Still around zero, but right now anything to get off the trainer and rollers is better! After I unpacked everything from Suth Carolina, I realized that my frame had been crushed from the airlines. The left seat stay has a huge crack in it, and my bike ox was dented and marked as well. Trying to get my claim figured out with the airlines has been one heck of a time. It's been about a month now, and I still do not know anything more about it! I was stuck in the deliema with fixing my frame or ordering a new one. At that moment, time was the biggest issue. I have a few other frame i could ride at home for training, but I need a Trek by my first race, so I hope my new one will arrive very shortly. I recieved all my clothing and some extra goodies from Trek Red Truck! It showed up in a box on my front porch and I was very exciting. I recieved a lot, and I can't wait to race in it. As for moving to Whitler, I am headed out there one month from today! I can't wait! I have everything sorted out, and the condo we will be staying in for the summer looks gorgeous. I have never been there before and im pretty stoked! Classes are almost done for the year too! 4 days of school left, two exams...and one i have to write next december?? haha. Another big hassel was trying to get my exam deffered. Lets hope I never have to do that again...either than I probably will somewhere down the line, or not take spring classes again. I'm looking forwards to racing more and more every day, I think it's going to be a great season! All for now.

Blogging

Hello! Welcome to my blog!
So i decided to finally start a blog, I dont know how consistant i'll be in regards to keeping up with posting, but i'll see how it goes. Decided it might be a good idea so i can keep family and freinds and what not aware of my whereabouts, traveling and racing.
I recently got back from the national team development endurance cycling camp in South Carolina. The weather was amazing, and had great riding, especially with a few days in the mountains. Overall it was a fantastic experience and i met some great people. Hopefully this will move me on the forwards track to better racing and other projects. Coming back to Winnipeg sucked but i'll be out of here in not too long, and then moving to whistler in under two months! I can't wait!
Had some testing at the national sports center today and it went really well! Without skating this season i've felt that i am going to be a lot more fit and cycling race ready for my first race. We;ll see how the season goes as i have high goals i can't wait to start acheiving!
Thats all for now, hopefully i can keep up with some updates!
